So, on his reco mmendation, I bought  a copy, since I  didn't  know if it would eve r be on TV ag ain. I had never h eard of a  nybody in it except Armand Assan  te. At first I had a hard time  gett  ing into the story, becaus e the first part of th e movie is a jumbl e of images-- and it doesn't  make much sense . It  is only lat  er in the movie  that it all comes toge ther.  The scene-cu tting - if that's what it's called, is a  bit jarring--  it s  ometimes looks as if a few frames have been cut out of each scene, a  nd t he sc enes are jerky--but I guess that wa s don e to add to the unusualness  (if that9;s a word). Th e story veers here and the re,   and just about the time you have it all figured o ut, everyt hing turns  upside  down and  you ha ve t o readju  st your t  hinking  as   to who is the bad guy and who is not. Or b ad woman. The acting i s very good--  I kept t hinking how much No rman Reedus looks like L eo Decaprio. The en ding was  a real  twist, totally unexpected, which I liked.
