So, on his reco mmendatio n, I bought a copy, si nce I didn9;t know if it wo uld ever be on T V again. I had n ever heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a har d time getti ng into the sto ry, because t he first par t of th e movie is a jumble of imag es-- and it do esn't m ake much se nse. It is only later in the mov ie that it all comes togeth er. The sc ene-cutting- if th at's what it's cal led, is a bit jarring-- it so metimes looks as if a f ew f rames have b een cut out of each scene, an d the scenes ar e jerky--but I g uess that was done to add to the unusualness (if th at's a w ord). The story ve ers here an d there, and just about the time you have it all figured out, everyt hing turns upside down and you have to read just your thinking as to who is the bad guy and who is not. Or bad woman. The acting is very good -- I k ept thinking how m uch Norman Reedus looks like Leo Decaprio. The endi ng was a re al twist, totally u nexpec ted, which I liked.
