《我的母親薩梅迪》是由知名导演Paloma Sermon-Daï 执导的一部紀錄片，Ysma Sermon-Daï Damien Sa 等倾情出演，该片讲述了：　　Sa medi liv es in a village in Wallon ia. He w orks from  time t  o time as a garden  er and has a close rela tionship wi th his mother. Everyday  life in the vill age, which has seen better times, Samedi&# 39;s quiet and friend ly nature and the still largely intact rural setting stand in stark contra st to th e hero in addiction Same  di has suffered  from for over 20 ye ars, which only his fami ly knows  about. Hi s rel ationship  with hi s mother ch anges when he makes an other attempt to get clean.  Paloma Sermon-Daï’s documentary paints a   restrained, highly  precise picture of a relationship m arked by af fect ion and love but which is also difficult to define in r elati on to Samedi's problem  . As the camera observes the long, conc entrated co nversations he  has with both his m other and his therapist, a  pictur  e of addiction comes into view which   is part o f a  family st ructure. This becomes embe dded in something larger   in turn via the individual image s of the villa ge.
