Moj is an Indian video platform app just like TikTok that is created for netizens to showcase their creative talents. The app has started a campaign #MojwithRitviz. Ritviz is an internet music sensation and has been creating music for over the past five years. Some of his biggest hits include songs like Udd Gaye, Liggi, Jeet and Sage, each clocking over 20 million views. Most recently he was part of a mini-series documenting life in the lockdown. He has over 1.5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. The hashtag already saw over 200 million video plays, with celebrity influencers like Aadil Khan, Mukti Mohan, Shivani Kapila and many more have participated in the campaign. While launching his album on Moj, Ritviz said: “It has been a great experience collaborating with Moj, especially given the restraints of the 30-second timeline for the songs. On Monday, YouTube announced a number of updates for its YouTube Music TV app, including TVs running Android TV OS and the new Chromecast with Google TV. For all smart TVs, YouTube Music users can now access saved playlists and liked songs in their available libraries, the company said in a blog post. The options will appear in the YouTube Music tab within the YouTube TV app. The update also includes new visuals to show albums and and playlist artwork.
“We’re working hard to bring even more features to YouTube Music,” the blog post reads. “In the coming months, YouTube Music Premium users will be able to continue playing music in the background after exiting the app.”
The main change is that Android TV OS users will be able to access music uploads directly in your library. There’s also a new playback interface that’s designed to include relevant information like the artist’s name, as well as display a progress bar while a song plays. For devices with the Android TV home screen, people will also be able to use a new YouTube Music row to make browsing easier, according to the blog.
YouTube Music launched in 2018, with The Verge’s reviewer calling it “surprisingly great.” As YouTube expands the service, the app — on TV, mobile, and desktop — have seen a number of updates. Recently, YouTube made it so people without premium accounts could cast to their speakers and allowed Google Music users to transfer their tunes over to YouTube Music.

The Music Center Announces $25 Million Gift from Philanthropists Tina and Jerry Moss to Benefit Programming and Enhance Access to Arts Experiences
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — The Music Center today announced it received a $25 million gift from Tina and Jerry Moss to benefit new programming initiatives. With this gift, the arts organization will establish an annual, free summer concert, open to all, to be held outdoors on the newly named Jerry Moss Plaza, located at The Music Center; sustain and enhance The Music Center’s commitment to free and low-cost events; and formally launch arts partnerships with community organizations to help uplift artists and their work, with an emphasis on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC ) artists. Jerry Moss, a longtime Music Center supporter since 1968, is the legendary music executive who co-founded A&M Records with partner Herb Alpert and guided the careers of major artists, including Quincy Jones, The Carpenters, Joe Cocker, Sting and Janet Jackson, among countless other music industry luminaries.
The $25 million gift is the largest single contribution for programming that The Music Center has received in its history and will be used to increase the breadth and depth of the organization’s public presentations. Other significant gifts over the years include $20 million from philanthropist Glorya Kaufman, which made it possible for the performing arts center to create the highly popular Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center series—featuring presentations by world-class dance companies—along with $12 million from The Music Center Board of Directors Chair Cindy Miscikowski and the Ring-Miscikowski/The Ring Foundation, which seeded the launch of the TMC Arts Fund to produce arts education, dance and public programs at The Music Center.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival is making up for this year’s canceled event with a weekend of archival footage, running Friday through Sunday, Oct. 9-11, via ACLFestival.com and the event’s YouTube channel. Performances — including some filmed for the “Austin City Limits” TV show — include Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Willie Nelson, Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Phish and many more.
