Watch: Park Seo Joon Gives Behind-The-Scenes Look At Cameo From “Record Of Youth”

Park Seo Joon has shared a new look at his cameo in “Record of Youth”!

On October 13, a video showing Park Seo Joon on the set of the tvN drama was uploaded to the actor’s YouTube channel, “Record PARK’s.”

In the video, Park Seo Joon shares that his cameo as model Song Min Su in the ninth episode of “Record of Youth” is his first time filming for a drama in three months after finishing up JTBC’s “Itaewon Class.” While waiting to head onto the set, he says, “It looks like I have to keep appearing in dramas to keep in touch with what filming feels like.”

He mentions that films and dramas are different because dramas include many shots of the characters from the chest up, and the actor goes on to explain his connection with writer Ha Myung Hee, who also worked on Park Seo Joon’s 2013 SBS drama “A Word from Warm Heart.” He shares that Ha Myung Hee had reached out to him for the “Record of Youth” cameo.

In the ninth episode of the drama, Song Min Su and Sa Hye Joon (played by Park Bo Gum) meet at an awards ceremony, and Park Bo Gum had also previously made a cameo in the last episode of Park Seo Joon’s drama “Itaewon Class.”

Park Seo Joon continues to reveal what happens when the cameras aren’t rolling, and he comments on how hot it is to shoot while wearing a suit, as the filming took place on July 31. He also shows off great chemistry with the staff members.

Park Seo Joon just gave us something to look forward to.

In an interview with magazine Metro.Style, the South Korean actor said he wants to meet his Filipino fans once again after the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

“If this situation will be resolved as soon as possible, if there are still people who support me, I hope we can meet up soon,” Park said in the video of his interview.

“I’m also hoping for that and I hope you stay healthy until then,” he added.

Seo Joon recalled the time in 2019 when he was in the Philippines, saying he felt more support in the Philippines compared to when he is in Korea.

“I went to the Philippines for a promotion before. When I am in Korea, I don’t feel the support that much. But when I went there [Philippines], I had an amazing experience,” he said.

Ana endorser for local clothing brand Bench, Seo Joon was in Manila for a fan event at the Mall of Asia Arena.

He enjoyed his time in Manila so much, Seo Joon even vlogged about it.

Seo Joon recently starred in the hit Korean drama “Itaewon Class.” He is also recognized as a leading man in several K-dramas including “She Was Pretty,” “Fight For My Way,” and “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.”

The South Korean actor also starred in an ad for cosmetics brand BYS Philippines.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, mass gathering events including concerts and fan meets have been cancelled or rescheduled due to the safety protocols and travel restrictions imposed.

However, the Korean culture trend has emerged even more amid the quarantine period in the Philippines with more and more Pinoy fans getting into K-Pop music and K-drama series. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News

“Flower Of Evil” Star Seo Hyun Woo Reveals Why He Was Impressed By Lee Joon Gi During Filming

In a recent interview, “Flower of Evil” star Seo Hyun Woo talked about his experience filming the hit tvN drama.

In “Flower of Evil,” Seo Hyun Woo played the role of journalist Kim Moo Jin, a childhood friend of Do Hyun Soo (played by Lee Joon Gi) and the ex-boyfriend of Do Hyun Soo’s sister Do Hae Soo (played by Jang Hee Jin).

Looking back on his time on set, the actor remarked, “We filmed the drama over a long period of time. COVID-19 happened, and there was also the flooding. The staff all went through a lot. Because filming took a long time, I ended up focusing even more on the character of Kim Moo Jin. I’m grateful to the staff that we were able to wrap up the drama without any issues.”

Seo Hyun Woo also spoke highly of his co-stars Lee Joon Gi and Jang Hee Jin, commenting, “Lee Joon Gi and Jang Hee Jin are true veteran actors. Because it was my first leading role, I was excited but also very nervous, and they understood that better than anyone. They helped me feel comfortable even starting with rehearsals.”

He went on to praise Lee Joon Gi in particular, recalling, “Lee Joon Gi is an actor that makes you wonder where all that energy is coming from: that’s how cheerful and lively he is, and he’s a person who gives everyone around him great vibes and energy. When I felt down because of my own shortcomings while acting, he would approach me first to comfort me and talk about it. He was someone who led the entire set and everyone on it that way. While playing my first lead, I learned a lot from watching Lee Joon Gi.”
